The Islamic College of Brisbane was established in January 1995. It offers high quality education at both primary and secondary levels. The college is situated on the outskirts of the city next to a large nature reserve, the Karawatha forest.

Curriculum:
Arabic is a compulsory second language at this school, the teaching of which provides better understanding of the Holy Quran and Hadith. In religious education, a sound program in Islamic studies is offered. This consists of Quran recitation, Islamic history, Fiqh, Tawheed, Hadiths and Akhlaq (moral training).
