Islamic Center of Nashville; The weekend school was re-established in the Spring of 1996 after taking a one year hiatus upon conception of the full-time Islamic school. The purpose was to inculcate Islamic knowledge and values to the children of our community, especially to the kids who were unable to attend the full time school due to the limited grades in the first year.
Presently the school is operating on ten classes, four levels of children Islamic knowledge, four levels of children Qura'n reading and memorization, and two separate teenage classes for boys and girls on Islamic knowledge and activities. The school is held at the Islamic Center of Nashville. Every Sunday, classes begin at 10:30 AM and end at 1:00 PM with Salat ul-Dhuhr.
