Universal Islamic School; Their students are taught from a very young age the basic fundamentals of Islam. All core subjects are taught in relation to Islamic principles. In addition, students are required to have an Islamic studies class as early as pre-kindergarten. By praying Thuhr daily and attending Friday khutbas, their  students are implementing concepts taught in the classroom. Their value of the month allows the students not only to practice Islamic Tarbiyah but to implement it throughout their lives.

Curriculum: The elementary level adheres to an accelerated academic program that leads the students in the high school level to thier college preparatory program offering Advanced Placement and Honors classes. Their elementary school students, on average, performed better than 77% of all the students nationally, when compared to students in other private and parochial schools in grades 2nd through 8th, on the Iowa Test of Basic Skills.
